Half Day Horse Ride: Ideal for families or couples with limited time. This scenic horse ride is an excellent alternative to the 'Historic Flecks Hut Horse Ride'. Many of its features are included; from the native bush trail, amidst an abundance of ferns and shubbery, to divine views of the Southland plain. Enjoy a light picnic lunch (or morning/afternoon tea) on route. Suitable for beginners to more experienced riders. Times to suit, allow 3-4 hours duration. High Country Horseback Muster: A true high country farming experience. Assist your Guide to saddle up as you prepare to ride out and join the 'mustering team'. Once there, help with the gathering (herding) of the sheep, or cattle in the high country. Enjoy off-road backcountry horseback riding over diverse, hilly terrain.
