Safety Features
We have a small team of quiet well mannered horses which we use for visitors.  All except one, who is semi-retired, are kept in work throughout the season.  Helmets of variable sizes are available for use.  Horses are matched to riders, however, most are suitable for beginners to experienced riders.  Due to the hilly terrain, stock saddles are used for your comfort and safety, although there are some general purpose saddles.  The saddles are fitted with safety sturrips.  Half chaps are available for riders use.  There are also a couple of 'dry as a bone' riding coats for use in adverse or unpredicatable weather, although these are generally only required on the multi-day packages.  Warm clothing, which can be removed when hot, is advised.  Bookings are accepted on the understanding that visitor's have read the information on  'Responsibility' .

Beaumont High Country Experience operates seasonally from November to April and off-season by arrangement.
